Partnered with well-known tutoring company and reputable educational support platform, they are expanding their team and seeking an enthusiastic Science Tutor to join them in their Sheffield branch.

Position Overview: As a Science Tutor, you will be responsible for leading group sessions with up to four students, focusing on Mathematics and Science subjects at a Sheffield-based tutoring facility. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of the curriculum, and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct small group tutoring sessions for Mathematics and Science subjects.
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to the needs of the students.
• Provide clear explanations of complex concepts and ensure student understanding.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and their parents.
• Collaborate with other tutors and share best practices.

Requirements:

• You must hold QTS (qualified teacher status) in the UK with strong academic background in Mathematics and/or Science.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
• In-depth knowledge of the current curriculum and exam requirements.
• Passion for education and helping students succeed.
• Ability to commute to Sheffield.

Location: The position is based in Sheffield, with tutoring sessions conducted at a dedicated facility.
