Job Title: Occupational Health Screening Nurse
Location: Preston
Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum + benefits
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time – Monday to Friday

Right to live and work in the UK is required for this role

Role Summary 

This is a great opportunity for an Occupational Health Screening Nurse to join our dynamic and friendly team, delivering services to our University client. You will be based at the campus in Preston with very sporadic travel to Burnley and West Lakes Campus at other times in the year.

The successful applicant will have a thorough working knowledge of NHS immunisations and be competent to take blood and give vaccinations.

You will also be required to deliver health survelliance in this role which will include audiometry, spirometry, vision testing and undertaking general health assessments. Experience isn't essential in this area as training can be provided.

Who Are We Looking For? 

  • You will need to be a Registered General Nurse with previous experience in immunisations, phlebotomy and health assessments.
  • Current NMC Registration
  • You will need to be a proactive, friendly and professional person who is confident managing their own workload and working independently.
  • Ability to travel to client site where required.
