Scrub Nurse

We are looking for a Scrub Nurse in Guildford, Surrey to join a leading specialist in Ophthalmic services in a state of the art service, with a salary of £40,000 and other amazing benefits including 33 days annual leave, generous pension and more!
You don’t need Ophthalmic experience as full training is provided. If you’re looking for a great work life balance then this job is for you! The shift pattern for this Scrub Nurse role is full-time, no nights and only occasional weekends!
As a Scrub Nurse / Theatre Practitioner, you will be:

• Accountable for participating in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Surgical pathway.
• Providing excellent care to all patients.
• Providing skilled clinical and technical help as a member of the operating theatre team.
• Involved in peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite of the hospital.

The ideal person for this role will:

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
• Have previous experience in theatre, at least of one year.
• Have knowledge in private and operation settings.
