Position Description

As these are hybrid roles, you may be required to work on a client site for a day from time to time (Manchester, Bristol, London) for client workshops and events. In the longer term there may be a requirement for on-site work to increase but the majority of work will still be remote. All applicants must also hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (SC) level.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Run the teams Agile Ceremonies and present for the service at Show and Tell events
Tracking and reporting on delivery cadence including burn-up and burn-down providing regular and accurate reporting on progress to the client
Working with the team to address blockers and challenges impacting delivery including liaison with downstream/upstream impacted delivery groups and teams
Working with the product manager to ensure regular backlog grooming and prioritisation is in place and tracking and reporting on progress.
Acting as the bridge between the technical and non-technical team members, ensuring everyone is involved in UCD research, has a voice and actively understands and contributes to meeting the aims and objectives of the delivery.
Running and maintaining the JIRA boards and Confluence space for the team
As a Scrum Master (Delivery Manager), youll also handle internal CGI forecasting and reporting, including DS Web submissions, timesheet verification, onboarding new team resources, and collaboration with the PMO to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
As a Scrum Master you will need to be across Agile and Lean Practices being able to identify and compare delivery methods; encourage experimentation and adaptability; measure outcomes and evaluate results; help teams manage and visualize progress.
You will also need to be able to demonstrate effective communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage expectations proactively and reactively. In addition, you should be able to demonstrate the ability to keep delivery momentum on a project, optimise processes, plan strategically and form, motivate and empower delivery/scrum teams.
