Job Type: Full-time
Location: Southwest 
Salary: Base up to £43, 000 + bonus incentive 


We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our dynamic IT teams at a prestigious educational institution. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for Agile methodologies, who has engaged in self-study or has some experience working in an agile environment and is ready to lead a team. The Scrum Master will facilitate the day-to-day operations of teams implementing projects, service improvements, and operational change, ensuring the delivery of business projects and the continued operation of the institution.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Facilitate Scrum rituals and workshops, enabling teams to deliver value efficiently.
  • Coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a servant leader to several teams, leading by example and encouraging self-management and cross-functionality.
  • Identify and help remove impediments to the team’s progress.
  • Protect teams from disruptions and maintain focus on goals and deadlines.
  • Resolve conflicts and promote a collaborative team environment.
  • Assist with project administration and training, particularly with Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners for effective product backlog management.
  • Capture and maintain valuable metrics to track team performance and progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Enthusiastic about Agile practices and principles.
  • Excellent leadership and facilitation skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional people management skills, with an emphasis on interpersonal and negotiating abilities.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly to a diverse audience.
  • Innovative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and manage priorities.
  • Willingness to engage in professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Certified Agile Scrum Master (Desirable).
  • ITIL Foundation qualifications (Desirable).
  • Experience in development projects, particularly in Infrastructure, Platforms, or Cyber Security (Desirable).
