About the role

Do you have significant maritime instructional experience and are seeking an exciting new role? The RNLI is recruiting for a full-time Sea Survival Centre Trainer in Poole.

  • In this physically demanding role, you will need to maintain a good level of fitness due to spending prolonged periods in the Sea Survival pool, whilst confidently teaching and ensuring student safety
  • Deliver Sea Survival training at the dedicated Sea Survival Centre in Poole, to the high standards expected of the RNLI (this includes adhoc delivery of training in external Sea Survival Centres around the UK and Ireland)
  • Undertake assessments and report on performance
  • Ensure the training lifeboats and associated equipment are kept in good working order

About you

  • Extensive knowledge of the RNLI and the needs of volunteer crew members
  • An innovative and inclusive training style
