Duties:
- Operate and maintain industrial embroidery machines (embroidery experience not required however sewing experience is.) and other tools necessary for the job.
- Embroider in accordance with company standards
- Change needles, threads and bobbins.
- Follow patterns and instructions to ensure accurate and precise work.
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
Experience:
- Previous experience as a seamstress or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of different types of fabrics and their properties
- Proficient in using sewing and or embroidery machines.
- Impeccable eye for detail and ability to produce high quality work. Ability to work with precision.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during the embroidery process.
- Can do attitude.
- Ability to work to targets and deadlines.
Pay rate up to £12 p/h – cash in hand.
Type of contract: Permanent (Full time)
Schedule: 8-hour shift between 8am – 9pm. Weekend availability also required.
