Seat Design & Test Engineer

Techniche Global are supporting leading automotive manufacturer to appoint a Seat Design & Test Engineer
This role will be overseeing and monitoring the manufacturing and production of Seats and Seating systems at the plant in Sunderland.
Key responsibilities:
* Responsible for the life cycle management of Seats including cost reduction, quality market improvement and new product development projects.
* Lead the industrialisation activities of new Seating systems
* Supplier day to day management
* Managing and reporting test validation, cost performance, part quality, adoption timing and delivery.
* Secure industry leading customer satisfaction
* Work within a cross functional global team
Qualifications and Experienced required:
* Design or Engineering qualification
* CAD interrogation
* Cost analysis skills related to automotive interior
* Experience in engineering
