About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and motivated Secondary ECT to join a secondary school in Newcastle. This role is perfect for an early career teacher eager to develop their teaching skills and make a positive impact on students’ education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in your subject area.
• Assess, track, and report on students' progress and development.
• Manage classroom behaviour to create a safe and productive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school community.

Requirements:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be on track to achieve it.
• Have a strong understanding of the secondary curriculum.
• Be committed to promoting the welfare and safety of children.
• Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
