We are seeking an outstanding and talented English Teacher to join one of our schools after Easter 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing and successful subject team that is committed to helping students achieve their potential across KS3 and KS4.
Day to Day of the role:- Deliver high-quality lessons to students across all age and ability ranges, fostering a love for English and Literacy.
- Raise achievement and promote outstanding progress by employing a variety of teaching methods tailored to students’ needs and abilities.
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum and teaching resources within the English department.
- Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students, providing feedback that supports their learning and development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide initiatives to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
- Demonstrable passion for English and Literacy, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Proven track record of excellent classroom practice and student progress.
- Strong subject knowledge across all key stages, with the ability to teach effectively to a diverse range of students.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to share best practices with colleagues.
