We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Food Technology Teacher to join our secondary school team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in the field of Food Technology within a thriving technology department.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver engaging and high-quality Food Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Foster a love for culinary arts and practical skills related to food preparation.
Contribute to the development of the technology curriculum.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure student progress and achievement.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching strategies and materials.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is desirable.
Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level is advantageous.
A strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment methods for Food Technology.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
