We are seeking a dedicated and innovative french Teacher to join our vibrant Modern Foreign Languages Department at a supportive secondary school in Cambridgeshire. This role is ideal for an educator with a passion for teaching Spanish and a desire to contribute to a dynamic learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver engaging Spanish lessons to students across Years 7-11, with a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
Foster a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
Develop and implement creative lesson plans and curricula that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the language program.
Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities, including language clubs, trips, and exchanges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a specialism in French.
Ability to teach German and/or Spanish is advantageous but not essential.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Spanish.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
