Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our dynamic team in September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a ‘Good’ rated school located in the heart of Birmingham.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality geography lessons that align with the national curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links and enhance teaching methods.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level is preferred but not essential.

Skills:

Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
