We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate MFL Teacher (French & German) to join one of our 'Outstanding' Secondary schools in Eaglescliffe to inspire students within all key stages.
Day to Day of the role:
- Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students, ensuring a high standard of learning and achievement.
- Utilise effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational theory and practice, applying this to teaching strategies and classroom activities.
- Use data to assess student performance, inform teaching methods, and implement targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s ethos of continuous improvement.
- Lead and support other staff in developing a variety of teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
- Engage in self-evaluation and professional development to further personal and team growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- QTS Teaching qualification (PGCE, SCITT, MEd, Cert. Ed, etc.) or equivalent.
- A relevant BA/MA in an MFL subject.
- Proven experience as an excellent classroom practitioner.
- Strong organisational and personal management skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Experience in leadership and project management is highly desirable.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and lead effective teams.
- Strong ICT skills and a commitment to self and team development.
