Job description

1.0 FTE Permanent  The post holder will support the faculty in brokering and sustaining partnerships with schools and other settings to expand, develop and retain the secondary ITE portfolio within the region. An important aspect of this work will be managing the Quality Assurance of the partnership and the implementation of the research informed mentoring curriculum. The role will also expect to support and promote all recruitment and induction activities.    Being able to offer a secondary subject would be an advantage to undertake Senior Lecturer responsibilities in an identified subject role and professional studies for both PGCE and Undergraduate Initial Teacher Training.  The candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status and be educated to master's degree level. Experience as a mentor, knowledge of Initial Teacher Education within a school setting and a track record of delivering high quality CPD is essential. Leadership, exceptional communication and relationship building skills are key to this role alongside enthusiasm and a commitment to training the next generation of teachers.  Informal enquiries about this opportunity are very welcome.
