Science Teacher
Location: March, Cambridge
Salary Range: £130 - £211 per day

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a supportive and friendly secondary school. Starting from Easter 2024, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring young minds and nurturing their curiosity in the field of science.
Day to Day of the role:
Teach science across Key Stage 3 and 4, adhering to the national curriculum and preparing students for their GCSE exams.
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that stimulate students’ interest in science.
Mark work, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
Report on student progress and contribute to parent evenings and departmental meetings.
Develop and enhance the science curriculum within the department.
Participate in and contribute to the school’s CPD programmes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
A relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
A degree in science or a related subject.
Proven experience teaching science in a secondary school environment.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
