Hours: 8:30-15:30
Contract: Temporary (end of the academic year)
Start date: February 2024- July 2024

We are currently recruiting a Full time Science Teacher to support our client in the Newport Area. Applicants will be required to be organised, punctual and prepared for any situation. The education sector can be rather fluid so the ability and willingness to be adaptable to situations is highly desirable.

Role and Responsibilities:
• Ability to build relationships.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Knowledge of school strategies.
• Experience Teaching over KS3-KS4
• Knowledge and understanding of the Curriculum.
• Patience and empathetic approach
• Provide care and attention.
• Able to review progression of students.
• Keep a strong communication with faculty and parent/guardians.
• Specialism to cover all Sciences.

What do we need from you?
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS in the UK)
• DBS
• Previous experience in a school Teaching role
• Knowledge and confidence Teaching the curriculum

What you need to register with Reed:
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• EWC
• Provide 5 years relevant references.
