We are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our secondary school client in Immingham as soon as possible to cover long-term on-going sickness absence, delivering inspiring and engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4. This is an excellent opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to develop their career in a supportive environment. The successful candidate must have experience teaching in a secondary school setting and hold QTS or QTLS.

Day-to-day of the role:

Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Science lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
Foster a love for Science and encourage students to engage with the subject matter.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Maintain discipline through well-focused teaching and through positive and productive relationships.
Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and whole school training events.
Be committed to your own professional development and willing to engage in further training and development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills).
Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to ensure student engagement.
Commitment to inclusive education and differentiated teaching methods.
Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
