Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Science Teachers to join our vibrant team. The successful candidates will have a passion for science and a commitment to inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential. The role is a full-time contract starting in September 2024. Ideal candidates will have a passion for science and education, with the ability to engage and inspire students across Key Stages 3-5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, with a strong track record of student achievement.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- A professional, supportive and highly experienced team of Education Specialists with over 20 years of experience and many of which are teachers themselves.
