We are a friendly and supportive school looking for a Spanish teacher to join our team based in the March area. You will be teaching Spanish to students of different ages and abilities, following the national curriculum and preparing them for assessments and exams. You will also be expected to plan and prepare your lessons, assess and report on student progress, and contribute to the promotion and development of the Spanish department.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- A degree in Spanish or a related subject
- Experience of teaching Spanish in a UK secondary school
- A high level of fluency and accuracy in Spanish
- A strong knowledge of the Spanish culture and literature
- A commitment to professional development and safeguarding
The working hours are 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. The pay rate is from £140 to £200 per day, depending on your level on the national pay scale. You will also benefit from:
