Tradewind are recruiting secondary trained Student Teachers NOW for a September 2024 start to work with our partner secondary schools in the Wigan area. If you are yet to secure a post for September and want to register with an agency as a backup option or you prefer the flexibility that supply offers then please get in touch.

We are recruiting for teachers who can offer any secondary based subjects including:

We are looking for Secondary Student Teachers NOW to register and be ready to work in the Wigan area this September 2024.

So, can you complete your Induction whilst on supply?
Yes you can! You can complete your Induction by working full terms in different schools or should we be able to secure you a long-term position of a full academic year, this will also enable you to complete part of your Induction. Only placements of one full term will count towards your Induction, and you need to complete the full time equivalent of two full academic years.
CPD for ECT's
We have developed our CPD courses to help hone the necessary skills in the classroom you'll need as an ECT, such as:
Interview Techniques
How to plan a good lesson in accordance with OFSTED
Effective Questioning in the Classroom
Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and Safeguarding

You'll also be registering with an agency who are the most recommended agencyon Google in the Liverpool City Region.

And if you're still in doubt … we endeavour to pay to scale point for all long-term positions (currently £153.85 per day) and pay above market rates for daily supply.
