Evelina Hospital School is a community special school meeting the needs of young people who are patients in Evelina London Children’s Hospital. We are situated opposite Westminster, on the south of the Thames, in the heart of central London.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Secondary Teacher who will join and strengthen our team from September 2024. We are particularly interested in experienced teachers with an English or ICT / Computing specialism.
The successful applicant will be:
A teacher with secondary mainstream or special school teaching experience with a specialist background in English or ICT /Computing or related area;
A professional with a commitment to improving the outcomes and life chances of young people;
Solution- focused, proactive, resourceful and energetic;
Able to demonstrate effective teaching across all key stages including GCSE and A-level to all abilities;
Proficient to teach other subjects (if you have other subject specialisms, this will be advantageous)

We teach children and young people from 2-19 with the full spectrum of abilities and special educational and medical needs, so we are looking for a flexible, experienced Secondary Teacher, who can adapt quickly to changing situations. We need a dynamic and creative Secondary Teacher who will ensure an enriching educational experience for our pupils.
