About the Role

Connex Education are working with a Secondary school based in Rochdale who are looking to fill numerous secondary teacher vacancies for the new term which starts in September 2024. 

This positions  are being offered on a temporary to permanent basis meaning the successful candidate will start in September on a temporary contract and then be given a full-time contract with the school, following a qualifying period.

The role is open to experienced KS3 and KS4 Secondary Teachers and ECT’s, who specialise in the following subjects :

English

Maths

Science

Deputy Director of Learning for Science

Design Technology – able to delivery Engineering

All of the positions are full-time and all applicants must have gained QTS within the UK and therefore have the curriculum knowledge. Applications from candidates without QTS will not be considered.

This is a fantastic opportunity to complete your ECT year (induction)

Person Specification

• Have a teaching qualification (BA/PGCE)
• Hold UK QTS
• Experience in schools in the UK
• Be an expert in your subject area 
• Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
