About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Section Foreman to play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating site activities. As a crucial member of our clients team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery, storage, and maintenance of materials, plant, and equipment on site. This role involves collaborating with the Project Manager, coaching site teams, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Role Accountabilities:
- Manage, order, and coordinate the delivery, storage, and maintenance of materials, plant, and equipment on site.
- Assist the Project Manager in implementing changes directed by the Client.
- Direct, coach, and support site teams, including subcontractors, to meet Contractual Obligations and achieve production targets.
- Collaborate with the Site Management Team in developing work programs and method statements.
- Lead regular site inspections to ensure works are constructed correctly and safely, providing reports to Senior Management.
- Ensure all site employees are briefed on safe systems of work, including Tool Box talks, Task Briefings, and Method Statements.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and HSQE Team in developing the Project IMS Plan and implementation.
- Monitor and report on Health & Safety performance and risks, managing the closeout of any Close Calls or unsafe acts/conditions observed.
- Attend regular Project Meetings and assist the Project Manager in maintaining, auditing, and updating management plans.
- Utilise and contribute to the document control system and input into Learning from Experience meetings.
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience as a Section Foreman on major projects.
- Willingness to lodge or commutable to North Wales.
- Qualifications under the CSCS Card system.
- Use of company systems, e.g., Themis.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
