About the role:

We are recruiting for our Global Technology team and are looking for a Security Analyst to join the team. You will be responsible for working globally with internal stakeholders on client information requests in relation to Information Security within BCD Meetings & Events. You will be the subject matter expert and lead on responses for RFP requests, Client contract reviews and support with client audit requirements.

 

You will be comfortable in reviewing data for its accuracy, collaborating across teams to obtain the information you require and have great communication skills which include the ability to influence others in order to meet set deadlines.

As a Security Analyst, you will:

  • Lead and manage the Information Security requests and project plan to meet the required deadlines and engage with the relevant areas across BCD M&E.
  • Act as subject matter expert for Information Security (data protection and compliance) in the UK.
  • Analyse information security policies and applicable SOP’s reviewing and updating accordingly.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders in order to meet with our RFP’s / Contract review requests.  
  • Research, understand, and communicate - regulatory and contractual security requirements related to the BCD organisation and collaborate with Legal, Strategic Sourcing, and Internal teams to ensure alignment with data protection and compliance requirements.
  • Work with the relevant sales, legal and operations team advise on design and maintenance of effective information security controls compliant with ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, PCI, SOC, GDPR.

 

You’re good at:

  • Experienced with reviewing data and legal contracts and being able to extract information from teams and translate int the required frameworks to meet our requests.
  • Knowledge of ISO Compliance Series, NIST.
  • Knowledge of PCI, ITIL.
  • Assist with the security assessment processes as needed.
  • Communicating clearly and succinctly to a varied audience comprised of operations, shared services, internal stakeholders, sales and account management, senior leadership, and fellow team members.
  • Ability to work on multiple deliverables at once, under tight deadlines, and being able to prioritise based on an ever-evolving landscape.
  • Experience of handling client calls – which could be virtually or in-person and able to present evidence alongside managing ad-hoc questions and requests.
  • Comfortable in highlighting process improvements that may be required.

 

You might also have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A., B.S.), or equivalent combination of education and work experience either in Information Protection, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Law, Compliance, Customer relationship, Business Partner
  • Legal / contract review background
  • Relevant information security professional qualifications
  • Experience using Ombud, Archer, One Touch system
  • Experience of information secruity in the travel and / or meetings and events industry

You should know:

  • This role can be hybrid with collaboration time in our Derby office or can be UK remote based
  • Our core business working hours are 9:00am – 5:30pm with an hour break, however flexibility will be required on occasion when working across global teams
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
