Security Cleared (Sc) Platform Engineer/Sme

We are seeking an experienced Securtiy Cleared (SC) Platform Subject Matter Expert/Engineer (SME) who will understand low-level designs, create and implement build scripts, and conduct testing and validation for an on-premises VMware infrastructure.

Location: Onsite 4/5 days in either Warwick, Farnborough or Corsham

The following technology will be used to automate infrastructure as code - Terraform, Ansible and PowerShell DSC.
Collaboration and guide architects and clients to outline best practise to deliver Windows and Red Hat Linux virtual machines as code-potential for scope to include other virtual infrastructure and network devices.
Skills Required:

- Proficient in writing, deploying and troubleshooting Terraform Configuration files,
- Proficient in writing, deploying and troubleshooting Ansible Playbooks/YAML files,
- Proficient in writing, deploying and troubleshooting PowerShell DSC MOFs and PowerShell Scripts
- Understanding of Integration with VMware platform
- Experience with version control system such as Git
Preferred:

- Knowledge and some skill with other configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Salt Stack.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will have a valid security clearance prior to the start.
