Security Control Room Operator Horsham (Id:44634)

We are currently recruiting for a Security Control Room Operator to join our team in Horsham working 42 hours per week 07:00am - 19:00pm 4 days on 4 days off 12 hour shifts Monday - Sunday.

EMCOR UK are looking for exceptional individuals who are customer driven, ideally with experience working in a busy Control Room environment. The candidate should have a good understanding of access control and CCTV systems with the ability to work well under pressure. Great communication skills (verbal and written) are critical to the role as well as the ability to think fast, multi-task and work well as part of a team.

• CCTV monitoring
• Managing of an access control system and responding to alarms
• Liaising with supply partners to log & resolve issues with security systems in a timely manner
• Dealing with communications from telephone calls and emails in a professional manner in accordance with site specific operational procedures
• Exchanging all necessary information to colleagues during shift handover
• Develop and maintain relationships with the client and key stake holders
• Support with maintaining accurate site administration files
• Ensure that all relevant processes are procedures are always adhered too
• Logging incident forms for security issues or breaches in procedure.
• Supporting the Security Manager with any project work or ad-hoc task
• Arranging permits & supervising access remotely into secure data critical rooms

Person Specification:

• Front Line SIA License in Security Guarding will be required upon successful application
• Strong written and verbal communicator with a high level of interpersonal skills
• Willing to work as part of the team and strive to develop within the role Able to use MS Office - Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePoint to a good level

• Valid First aid certificate- Advantageous 4 on 4 off working 12hrs Shifts which includes days & nights as well as Bank Holiday working
