Security Devops Engineer

Your new company
We are working with a client that is committed to sustainability and is looking to hire a Security DevOps Engineer to increase their Cybersecurity posture.
Your new role
As the Security DevOps Engineer, your role will be to work within the agile DevOps team, in a hands-on capacity to deliver security requirements for a company initiative that is based on the NIST framework. As this is a hands-on role, you'll need to have a strong focus on Security, AWS, C# and infrastructure code (e.g., Terraform).
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience in (but not limited to), the following areas:

• Implementation of secure infrastructure for their AWS-centric cloud application portfolio and digital/data platforms.
• Implementing security controls across a range of areas, including Threat Modelling, Backup & Recovery, Modern Authentication, Integration of SAST and SCA tools, Secure Software Development Life Cycle, Encryption and SIEM Integration.
• Application security architecture, Identity and Access Management and IT Security control design and their implementation.
• Implementation of appropriate security tools and services for the application portfolio and their S-SDLC processes, including the consideration of best practices.
• Engaging with the IT Security related forums and workgroups as well as Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams as required.
• Helping to build up the internal capabilities in cloud and application security and guide the squads through upskilling activities.

• £600 Per Day Outside IR35
• Hybrid working - 2x a day on site in Swindon.
• Contract until the end of the year (December 2024)
