Security Dog Handler

Role Outline

We are looking for a licensed Security Dog Handler with a NASDU registered dog to perform security guarding services on our client’s construction sites.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

· Ensuring the site is safe and secure

· Monitoring site access points & assets

· Dealing with members of the public who approach/enter the site

· Preventing losses and damage by reporting any irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures

· Completing patrols around the site

· Controlling traffic by directing drivers

· Completing daily occurrence logs during shift

· Reporting suspicious activity

About You:

· Must hold a valid SIA license

· Must have own certified NASDU registered dog, with full insurance and up-to-date vaccinations

· You will need to be a good written and verbal communicator

· Professional and presentable at all times

· Must be confident enough to raise alarms and contact emergency services

· Must be comfortable with completing relevant paperwork

Working Times:

We may require you to work on different sites fulfilling different duties and working a variety of different shift patterns, therefore you will be required to have a flexible approach to the work offered. It is beneficial if you have your own transport.
