Key Responsibilities:
- Fully conversant with all operational functions including Access control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm system, ensuring an effective monitoring and reporting function is maintained
- To have a full working knowledge & the ability to monitor all client security technologies, systems & procedures, supervising the operation of, & instructing on complex equipment in a safe and efficient manner, including but not limited to fire alarms, CCTV cameras, perimeter alarm systems & access and egress systems.
- Ensure there are sufficient officers to cover designated duties. Brief & debrief to ensure officers are fully conversant with their role, current issues & current SOPs’, maintaining good order & discipline throughout
- Ensure accurate rostering & forward planning of all direct reporting officers ensuring sufficient cover for holidays sickness & absences
- Monitoring & managing the appearance & behaviours of all security personnel, taking remedial action as appropriate and in line with company policies & procedures
- Be the first point of contact on shift for the Security function & any related queries.
- Resolve all queries utilising experience & knowledge & referring any complaints with Security practices to the Security management team
Requirements:

- Ability to make tough decisions considering any risks to meet operational needs & the demands of the business
- Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritise against urgency and importance
- Proactive leadership skills with the ability to instil a culture of high performance and delivery
- Ability to contribute on strategic and tactical planning
- Understanding of Corporate and Major Events
- Must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
- Must have a valid CCTV operator’s licence
