Security Engineer - Edinburgh Hybrid £700/Day Inside Ir35

Security Design Engineer / Security Design Review Consultant - Banking - Edinburgh (hybrid - 2 days per week in the office) - Contract - £700/day Inside IR35 - 6 month initial contract

We are recruiting for an experienced Financial Services Security Design Engineer to work with the business to ensure compliance with the Bank's security requirements on migrations from on-prem to the cloud - then produce a Security Design Document - showing the controls in place. You will also be responsible for Risk Mitigation, Threat Modelling, and Risk Assessments. Certifications ie CISM, CISSP, CCSP would be beneficial.

You'll have an excellent background in Security Engineering from a Bank or large Financial Services organisation and you'll have great communication skills too!

This is for an initial 6 month contract (and the project is quite long term).

Your background will include:

• Security Design Engineering within a Bank or Large Financial Services company
• Technical Authoring of Security Designs
• Cloud migration security implications
• Working alongside Tech teams in the business, ensuring compliance
• Application Security / Certificate Management
• CISM / CISSP / CCSP
• Knowledge of ISO2700x

2 days per week in Edinburgh.

£700/day Inside IR35 (so you will work via an Umbrella company)

6 month initial contract
