McCabe & Barton has partnered with a leading Asset Management Firm to recruit a Security Engineer.
Role Overview:
Develop, implement, and maintain security technology for our esteemed client, in collaboration with third parties and Managed Security Service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate security assessments and vulnerability scans
- Design, implement, and manage security measures, including DLP, Data Classification, Privileged Access, CASB, and Threat Intelligence
- Monitor and respond to security incidents in partnership with MSS
- Integrate security best practices into software development
- Stay updated with security trends and tech
- Assist in policy development and third-party testing
- Participate in incident response and forensics
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer
- In-depth knowledge of network and system security principles
- Proficiency in service management tools, particularly Service Now
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices, especially in AWS and Azure
- Knowledge of Remote Access Systems, including RSA, Checkpoint, and Citrix
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization
- Experience with security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, antivirus, and SIEM
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills
