Security Guard

Overview:
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Security Guards. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises and personnel. This is an opportunity to contribute to a safe and secure environment while gaining valuable experience in the field of security.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all areas
- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, including emergency situations
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary
- Follow established protocols for loss prevention and risk management
- Perform first aid or CPR in emergency situations, if trained and certified

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Basic knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment is a plus
- First aid certification is desirable but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
