About The Role
OCS is looking for a Security Manager in London - The Healthcare & Education Division at OCS is recognised throughout the world as a market leader within the healthcare and Education sector.The role is responsible for leading a team of employees to provide Security Services within the integrated Soft FM service to a UAL multi-site contract located in the London Region; managing all security teams employed across all UAL colleges to ensure operational excellence is delivered in line with agreed budgets and service specifications. This high-profile contract has security coverage across 14 sites and OCS Management will be working in Partnership with both UAL Head of Security, In-House Security teams as well as UAL FMs and other service providers.
OCS is now looking for an experienced Security Manager preferably with a background in the Education environment to see this contract into a new and exciting phase. Driving forward service delivery performance whilst delivering OCS values to the forefront. You will be working 5 days per week on a flexible shift pattern, 37.5 hours per week. Duties:Responsible for the Security Team at UAL, running operations and other contractual obligations to ensure the Soft Services team provides the required services and that contractual agreements are met by way of conducting quality site visits, completing associated visit documentation.
Conducting site surveys, health & safety risk assessments, compiling and reviewing assignment instructions and any other duties which assist in the support of the contract portfolio.
The Security Manager must have an in-depth knowledge of the service provided, and client objectives.
They should possess the personal attributes to facilitate a proactive relationship, which both organisations are able to share information, problems, plans, and concerns, responsible for all aspects of the Management and delivery of the service.
The role will be required to ensure appropriate quality management processes and methods are in place, to ensure quality is assured in all areas of the security service on a continual basis. Requirements:Good general level of education- Ability and knowledge of computer systems i.e., Work & Excel
Good verbal and written level of English required, including report writing
SIA licence
Experience of working in a security management role with industry knowledge of site security operations, within an Education setting preferable.
