A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Security Officerto join the Security team at The Emory.

The Maybourne is proud to introduce a new architectural landmark to London. The final project designed by the late Lord Richard Rogers, The Emory will be an exclusive, world-class hub of art and culture which marks the addition of a modern masterpiece to the group's global luxury estate. Situated on Knightsbridge and overlooking Hyde Park, The Emory will present 60 extraordinary suites set over 8 floors and a spectacular penthouse occupying the entire 9th floor.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you will be maintaining the standards of Security and Health and Safety as laid down by the Hotel Management and Company. To protect and safeguard, guests, colleagues, and company in relation to all matters involving security, fire, bomb and health and safety.

Main responsibilities of theSecurity Officerinclude, but are not limited to:

• Inquiries and visitors arriving at the staff entrance are appropriately handled and those visitors adhere to the Visitors policy.
• Administrative duties are carried out according to The Emory standard. This includes maintaining accurate logs, records, and notebooks.
• The Police and other Government Agencies are assisted with inquiries and whilst on Hotel premises.
• The CCTV system is actively monitored, checked to be working effectively, and maintained and fully compliant with the Data Protection Act regarding CCTV.
• Any items being removed from the Hotel are checked, pass-outs are processed correctly, with any discrepancies referred and/or any items withheld as deemed appropriate.
• A proactive presence is maintained by all Officers throughout the Hotel, particularly in public areas.
• Contribute to maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.
