Security Officer Days - Paddington Gardens

Purpose of the Role

To assist with smooth running of the development and to assist with all emergency situations when they occur. Providing visible security cover to the development, handling enquiries and customer concerns, monitoring CCTV and controlling contractors and access to the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrolling site
• Monitoring CCTV
• Handling enquiries and customer concerns
• Ensure that all incidents are recorded correctly and relevant management is notified
• To be aware of and abide by all rules, terms and conditions of the company
• Ensure that the Development is a safe and pleasant environment
• To assist concierge team and provide a cover for concierge’s teams breaks
• To carry out duties in accordance with instructions issued by Estate Manager

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential

1. Ability to demonstrate good levels of customer service at all times.
2. Experienced within the security industry.
3. Experienced in monitoring surveillance equipment.
4. Experienced in responding to incidents and liaising with emergency services where necessary.
5. Ability to complete necessary reports and paperwork.
6. Ability to work on own initiative and deal with demanding situations.
7. Honest and reliable work ethic.
8. Willingness to partake in on-site training for emergency procedures.
9. Excellent organisation, interpersonal and communication skills.
10. Willingness to adopt a flexible approach to work patterns and work weekends as and when required.
11. Willingness to undertake additional training.
12. Well presented.
13. Accurate record keeping with good attention to detail.
14. Ability to work well on their own and within a team.

Desirable

1. Good knowledge of Paddington local area
2. Basic understanding of H&S legislation

Working Hours - 7am to 7pm – 4on/4off

Salary - £28,000
