AddressWe are currently recruiting a Security Porter to join our client in Craigavon on a temporary ongoing basis
- 6 months initially
- £11.45 per hour – £20.95 per hour depending on the shift worked
- 37.5 hrs per week 5 days from 7 including weekends and bank holidays. Hours can vary from 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm ,2pm-10pm, 3pm-11pm 11pm-7pm (Night duty when security training is completed)
Job duties:1. Maintain a security presence within the wards / departments as and when
required.
2. Respond to all requests for security assistance from staff, patients and
visitors in priority order.
3. Patrol the buildings and grounds as necessary.
4. Stop and question suspicious or unauthorised persons or known wrong-doers
and escort them from the building, if necessary.
5. Restrain violent patients/visitors and contact the Police if required.
6. Escort staff to and from various locations as and when required.
7. Monitor close circuit television screens and respond to any incidents seen.
8. Report any untoward events including breaches of security, risks and
hazards, broken windows, leaks and wastage.
9. Record all incidents involved on the appropriate incident forms and the
Portertrac Portering system.
Portering duties include:1. Messenger duties throughout the hospital.
2. Convey wheelchair patients within the hospital.
3. Convey bodies from the Wards to the Mortuary.
4. Distribute stores throughout the hospital.
5. Assist with removal of furniture, equipment etc.
