Security Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Security Team Leader with exemplary leadership and motivational skills to maintain standards of performance, discipline, and team welfare. You will be a symbol of professionalism and dedication, never shying away from responsibility and challenging situations.

The role of a Security Team Leader not only plays a key part in daily operations, but is an integral part of Hall's security strategy, which focuses on the safety and wellbeing of the 1.7 million patrons we welcome each year. You will utilize all security systems at your disposal to create a secure environment for staff, contractors, artists, and visitors. You will support the Building Security Manager and Senior Strategic Security Manager in protecting this iconic venue through the rigorous application of established protocols.

As a Security Team Leader, you will apply strong incident management skills quickly and effectively to create safe and managed outcomes. Experience in a control room setting would be beneficial along with a familiarisation of emergency procedures. A key part of this role is the ability to absorb and react to information promptly, recall building and event knowledge accurately and ensure relevant information is briefed or recorded.

The ability to work in a busy and fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high service standards will set you apart. You will have a proactive approach to health & safety and display a real passion and commitment to providing excellent customer service to a wide variety of people in different roles. A customer focused approach and immaculate standards of presentation are vital for this role as a well as a willingness to uphold the Hall's vision and values. This is an annualised hours contract where you will be expected to work 2 days, 2 nights shift pattern then followed by 4 days off. The starting salary will be reviewed after successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.
