Self Employed Gardener

Job Overview:
Looking for a Self Employed candidate who can do our one off jobs. You will report to the office each morning given a van at the start of your day with the tools you need and a list of jobs toget done throughout the day / week. This will vary from lawn mowing, Hedge cutting, general garden maintenance. You may also be asked to report to estate agents to pick up keys and completing jobs for these estate agents this could be anything from grass mowing hedge trimming fitting a gate fencing or the replacement of broken paving and making it look presentable for tenants to move into. You must feel confident professional and presentable with a can do attitude. Be able to work on your own initiative and Reporting back at the end of the day.

Weekend work and overtime is available. PAYMENT EVERY 4 WEEKS

Also maybe asked to help out on hard landscaping Paving turfing fencing etc

Must have a full clean driving licence. Pay will be negotiable to how well you work and your knowledge / experience. Uniform will be given (work Top) you will have to provide work boots and suitable pants and you should look smart and presentable at all times.

This job role may require you to have 3 to 4 months off or work part time over the winter months. DECEMBER TO MARCH. Due to work decrease over the slow winter months.

Responsibilities:
- Perform regular garden maintenance tasks, including planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching
- Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, and fertilizing
- Irrigate plants and ensure proper watering schedules
- Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases
- Assist in the design and implementation of new garden layouts
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners
- Utilize power tools such as trimmers and blowers for larger landscaping projects
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in garden maintenance or landscaping preferred
- Knowledge of various plants, flowers, and trees commonly found in the area
- Familiarity with hand tools used in gardening tasks
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills
