Job Overview: My client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Advisor to join their team. They want someone with at least two years experience CeMAP qualified with the ability to be able to go into their agents office two/three times a week to train and inspire the teams in the world of mortgages. You will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients seeking mortgage solutions. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, possess excellent communication skills, and have a deep understanding of the mortgage market.
Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their financial goals, preferences, and unique circumstances.
Analyze financial information, including credit reports, to assess the client's eligibility for various mortgage products.
Market Research: Stay updated on current market trends, interest rates, and mortgage products.
Research and compare different lenders and mortgage options to provide clients with the best possible solutions.
Mortgage Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of various mortgage products, including fixed-rate mortgages, adjustable-rate mortgages, and government-backed loans. You will have access to the whole of the market for mortgage products.
Educate clients on the features and benefits of different mortgage options.
Financial Analysis: Evaluate clients' financial situations and provide recommendations on the most suitable mortgage products.
Calculate mortgage payments, interest rates, and other financial metrics to help clients make informed decisions.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional customer service.
Provide ongoing support and advice to clients throughout the mortgage process and beyond.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor, with a successful track record in the real estate and finance industry.
- CeMAP qualification or an equivalent recognized mortgage advising certification.
- Strong understanding of mortgage products, interest rates, and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance in the mortgage industry.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in mortgage advising (if required by local regulations).
Requirements:
- Availability to be present in the estate office two to three times a week for client meetings, consultations, and collaboration with other real estate professionals.
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate client needs and office obligations.
- Proficiency in using relevant mortgage advising software and tools.
- Strong organisational skills to manage client appointments, paperwork, and follow-ups effectively.
