I am a young at heart 94 year old lady, looking for a self employed PA for 5 hours per week to go out, trips to theseaside, occasional shopping trips, and visiting family.
I have a visual impairment, as I have macular degeneration.
I feel very isolated socially, so am looking for someone who enjoys a good conversation.
I have interests in current affairs, local affairs, and politics.
Duties include:
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Transportation
Companionship
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities:
Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
Kindness and sensitivity
Must be self-employed and able to provide evidence of this
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
