Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Schedule appointments and manage the salon's calendar
- Provide information about salon services, pricing, and availability
- Assist with store management tasks, such as inventory management and ordering supplies
- Perform front desk duties, including checking clients in and out, processing payments, and handling cash transactions
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively
- Upsell salon services and products to clients to maximize revenue
- Assist with mentoring new receptionists and providing training on salon procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions, makeup application, or barbering is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling appointments and managing client information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Professional appearance and demeanor
