Self Employed Taxi Driver (Gwynedd)

COMMISSION BASED TAXI DRIVERS REQUIRED IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS :

Conwy County (LLandudno/Colwyn Bay)
Gwynedd County ( Bangor/Caernarfon)

Anglesey County (Menai Bridge/Beaumaris/Holyhead)

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a taxi to transport passengers to their desired destinations
- Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, professional, and courteous
- Communicate effectively with passengers to ensure a smooth and pleasant ride experience
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the taxi vehicle

Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or knowledge of local streets and routes
- Must be able to lift heavy items, such as luggage, if required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass a background check and drug screening

Note: Previous experience as a Taxi Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required.

ALL DRIVERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO OBTAIN A COUNCIL TAXI LICENCE FROM EITHER CONWY, GWYNEDD, ANGLESEY OR WOLVERHAMPTON COUNCIL

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: £15,557.91-£40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Flexitime
• Night shift
• Weekend availability
• Weekends only

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay
