SEMH sports coach – Rugby
Do you have experience supporting children with SEMH needs/ a support background?
YSA Education are currently working with a special school in Rugby, that provides for children with challenging behaviours and special educational needs, between the ages of 7 years to 17 years. This school prides itself on ensuring all children reach their full potential through high standards of teaching and learning. Your role as a SEMH sports coach would be to work alongside the class teacher, helping them to meet the differing needs of the children in the classroom. They require teaching assistants for both primary and secondary age groups. This school can be accessed via public transport, but drivers are preferable. The hours for the roles are Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm and the school are looking to start suitable staff members as soon as possible.
Role Requirements:
- A nurturing individual with a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work as part of team, alongside teaching staff.
- Prior experience of working with children or adults with special needs/ challenging behaviours.
- Strong ability to motivate young people.

Requirements:
- DBS on the update service or willing to get one that is child and adult.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Knowledge of Autism/Challenging behaviour
