Job description

Academic Appointments are looking for Special Educational Needs Teacher to work in a SEMH School, in the Wakefield area.
 
This role is to start in March on a full time ongoing basis with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidates.
 
The right candidate will have a strong understanding and experience of working with students across all ages with Special Education Needs including Autism, Social emotional and Mental Health needs, willing and enthusiastic about making a difference to these children's lives and their education.

  • Previous experience of working with Pupils with a range of additional needs.
  • Hold QTS or have a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Team Teach/PRICE would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Two satisfactory references.
  • A valid DBS certificate subscribed to the update service, or be willing to obtain one.
