Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute positively to the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
- Create a positive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Prior experience working as a SEMH Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
- NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent is desirable.
- A strong understanding of the UK SEN Code of Practice.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience and resilience in challenging situations.
- Ability to adapt to the changing needs of students.
