Starfyn Education are working with an Education Inclusion Support Service in Kingston that supports schools and helps them to develop sustainable inclusion strategies and practices. The service can also support effective multi–agency work around vulnerable children, those at risk of hospitalisation due to mental health difficulties and also holds statutory responsibility for those primary–aged children who are too unwell to attend school and thus receive medical tuition. The Service also works on referral to its SEN Service providing education provision for pupils who are unable to attend school due to medical and/or SEN needs.
We are currently recruiting for the following 2 position:
Specialist Support
Highly skilled working with pupils with high level SEMH and/or SEN. Outreach in primary and
secondary schools or other venues offering advice and guidance around
behaviour/SEMH/SEN and/or working 1:1 or in small groups Based in schools across
Kingston and Richmond. Expected hours are usually 0830 to 1600.
SEN Tutor
Tutors needed for 1:1 or small group teaching. Could be based in the home or in other
venues across the borough. Must be happy to travel across Kingston and Richmond.
Significant SEN knowledge and experience necessary.
Staff work on a 10 session week (morning and afternoon) one of which is PPA. Expected
hours are usually 0830 to 1600.
