Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Position: Full-time
Are you a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) 1:1 Teaching Assistant with a passion for providing individualized support to students? We are currently seeking a committed individual to join our team in Northamptonshire in a full-time capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a student with Special Educational Needs.
Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student, promoting their social and academic development.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to ensure the student's needs are met effectively.
Monitor and record progress, contributing to the ongoing assessment and evaluation of the student's development.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, preferably in a Special Educational Needs setting.
Strong understanding of various Special Educational Needs and the ability to tailor support accordingly.
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the student.
