We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Cover Supervisor to support students and contribute to their success and join a well-established and highly regarded SEN school in Lewisham.

As an SEN Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Provide support to SEN students in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring continuity in their learning experience.
• Supervise and manage the classroom environment to maintain a safe and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by teaching staff to facilitate effective learning.
• Foster positive relationships with students and provide emotional support as needed.
• Assist with classroom management, behavior management, and ensuring that students adhere to school policies.
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff to meet the unique needs of SEN students.

As an SEN Cover Supervisor, you will have:

• A compassionate and patient manner with a genuine interest in working with students with special educational needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom settings.
• Prior experience in a similar role or working with SEN students is advantageous but not essential.
