£120 - £130 per day - Salary is depending on experience

Vision for Education are recruiting for a SEN English Lead Practitioner for a SEND school in North Liverpool. This is a full time, long term role which will start in September 2024 and could result in a permanent contract from the setting.  

About the Role:

As our English Lead Practitioner, you will:

• Teach English at the GCSE level.
• Coordinate, set, and deliver entry-level and functional skills examinations from Entry 1 through to Level 1.
• Provide leadership and support within the English department to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to support student achievement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and manage the administration of examinations and assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive experience teaching English at the GCSE level.
• A strong track record of student success in English.
• Experience in coordinating and delivering entry-level and functional skills examinations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
